Thank you, Shirley. This was one of those moments when I said, “Jon, please stop the truck, now!” It was one of those unique points in time when the light and color were complimenting each other. In those moments I have the sense not of “taking” or “shooting” a photograph, but of receiving one. And yes, fall is a favorite season, especially school, with new pencils and notebooks, fresh books, and a new start.
